Single and multi-year scholarships will be developed to encourage and support long term post-secondary education.

Program 1

South Colonie Dollars for Scholars will be the primary volunteer community organization with a common scholarship application that will result in the distribution of a substantial number of financial scholarships to the resident students of the South Colonie School District. Last year, we gave out over $20,000 to local high school seniors to continue their education at 2 and 4 year colleges.
