How does this organization make a difference?

Impact statement

Over the years since incorporation, SikhRI has grown the scope and scale of its programming to include more international destinations, while maintaining the consistency and quality of their events in North America. Also, in harnessing the power of new technological avenues for education, regular Liv webinar series are uniting students from around the world in online classrooms. The Sidak leadership retreat continues to lead as one of the top programs of its type in the world, with each years' efforts growing more streamlined and popular. Recently registered as a charity in Canada, SikhRI looks to make donating and volunteering as simple and rewarding as it has been for constituents in the US.

Funding Needs

SikhRI especially needs support at this time for its LIV webinars, which were made free in July of 2010 for all attendees. Previously, registration fees had run around $10-20, with a discount offered for students, but after nearly 2 years of consistently high attendance rates (avg. 30) it was decided that part of the mission of SikhRI involved making the sessions as acccessible as possible, and that meant removing the fee. Please listen to an archived session or sign up for an upcoming Liv today and consider supporting this innovative, global programming.
