Program 1

Initiatives include reducing Women and Childrens Exposure to Mercury through Fish Consumption and Improving Academic Achievement of Urban Youth through Environmental Science. Examples of our programs are the Youth Environmental Ambassadors of Health (YEAH!) program where youth investigate the science and politics behind enironmental issues then share the insights they gained with youth children in a K-8 afterschool program. Our Environmental Coalition for Community Health (ECCH) program assembles community members of all ages to engage in research, public education and community organizing around environmental and public health issues.
