Program 1

Gibbs Farm, Pathways to Dakota & Pioneer Life

Gibbs Farm provides meaningful education to 15,000 students and educators annually featuring the unique cross-cultural story of Jane Gibbs and her close relationship with the people of Cloud Man's Village (Dakota) between 1840 and 1880. RCHS works closely with partners in the Dakota communities of Minnesota to create programs that are culturally accurate, engaging, and effective, resulting in the strongest program of its kind in Minnesota.
