Located in a tiny ranching community (population 195) we serve a Title One K-12 School District of over 2000 sq. mi. in which there is no other public library. Our service area has a population of about 600.

Circulation of about 5000 printed items and 500 videos. The average number of visitations to the library each month is 125 adults, 35 children. Weekly Story Hour for pre-school through elementary-age children. The average attendance is 5 children/week. Local Author Lecture series -- 3-4 times per year. The average adult attendance is 45. Local Community Event and Birthday Calendar Fund-raising Event. Annual Communtiy-wide Yard Sale Fund-raising Event. Participation in community activities such as the Annual Corona Days Festival and the Annual Holiday and Spring Craft Fairs.

BIO

Mrs. Berglund relocated to Central New Mexico after she and her husband retired in 2002. In May 2004 she initiated plans and programs to establish the Corona Lending Library with the help of other area residents. She has had previous experience serving on many not-for-profit Boards.
