Mission Statement

We are a Catholic, Jesuit college-preparatory school for young men, committed to our presence in the city of St. Louis and dedicated to building Christ's kingdom of truth, justice, love and peace. We serve young men based on their ability to succeed, rather than their economic circumstances.

Through a rigorous academic program, we help our students develop critical minds and a life-long devotion to learning that informs moral choices and transforms lives.

In addition to assisting in the intellectual, aesthetic, social, and physical formation of our students, we help them develop compassionate hearts by fostering habits of personal prayer, reflection, and service for the Greater Glory of God.

Program 1

We must be competitive in every way. Further training of teachers. Provide first-class facilities. Create initiatives in furthering education. Increase scholarships. Sponsor collaborative efforts in planning and implementing programs with our neighboring institutions. Students & Faculty We must continue to draw and educate the best students. Attract and retain the best faculty. Must assure the faculty that they will be supported in their development - professional encouragement. Need to equip our faculty with the tools they require. Make SLUH financially viable for families. Facilities Must seek to have the finest facilities in the area. Must seek to increase the security of the campus. Must develop a "campus look", very much like SLU. Must utilize space for innovative educational programs. Must provide recreational opportunities for our students. Must provide training space for our athletic teams (wrestling, lacrosse, baseball, racquetball).
