Program 1

Pythons Drill Team

Pythons Drill Team was organized to showcase creativity as a means of self-liberation and self-identity within a contemporary dance style. The nature of this popular urban culture and hip-hop music enhances and supports the connection for perfecting the team's routines but does not overcome the fundamental choreography of drilling. Music, rhythm and dance are vehicles for members to exercise their creativity as well as build skills in self-organization, self-discipline and team cooperation. The Pythons offers majorette, acrobats, adult flag team and African dance classes.
