Mission Statement

The Parkway Education Foundation Board of Directors voted to dissolve the foundation, effective August 2008. It is the belief of the board members that other organizations affiliated with the district can better sustain the service mission of the foundation. The board members express their gratitude to the generous volunteers and donors who supported its mission for 18 years.

THIS ORGANIZATION NO LONGER ACCEPTS CHARITABLE GIFTS.

 

At the time of the foundation dissolution, the Board of Directors voted to distribute its assets to organizations affilated with the Parkway School District with services and programs that closely matched the mission of the foundation.  The board offered an encouragement to potential donors to support these two affiliated 501(c)3 organizations:

On the Move! best describes the Parkway Education Foundation. Efforts to engage all community sectors have been initiated, a permanent endowment, The Century of Excellence Fund has been established to ensure educational excellence for generations to come, and a major and planned gift campaign is under way.
