Mission Statement

The mission of the SCC Foundation is to improve the quality of life in our community by securing private and public funds to strengthen educational and cultural opportunities, and to enhance community awareness of the College and the Foundation. The mission of SCC is to enrich our community by providing life-changing educational and cultural opportunities focused on personal growth and student success in a global society.

SCC ensures that a high-quality, academic opportunity remains affordable and accessible to members of our community. In our 25 years, SCC has served more than 78,000 students at various points within their journey to attain a college degree. Providing this type pipeline of employable, skilled workers helps our local and regional business communities remain ccompetitive within an ever-changing global marketplace. The SCC Foundation aids SCC and communities by providing scholarships, academic enhancements and community outreaches. To date, more than $1.3 million dollars have been awarded.
