Funding Needs

The AMSA Charter School Foundation exists for the sole purpose of supporting the ongoing operations of the AMSA Charter School. The Foundation pays for anything the school's teachers and students might need that the school cannot pay for out of its yearly budget. This might be technology in the classroom, curriculum work, professional development for teachers, operations, classroom materials, etc.   Although charter schools in Massachusetts operate the same as public schools, they receive less funding and are also required to pay in full for the school's physical space and operational needs. The AMSA Charter School Foundation regularly applies for competitive grants and carries out fundraisers to raise money for this purpose. We are in constant need of new funding to support this very important cause!
