Official nonprofit partner to national parks, public lands and historic sites

Jefferson National Parks Association supports its partners by: 1) Publishing or making available to park visitor suitable historical and other literature and materials. 2) Acquiring publications, historical materials and objects. 3) Developing and improving park signs, markers, building, monuments, museums and other improvements. 4) Engaging in any activity that is calculated to conserve, develop or interpret areas of the National Park Service for the benefit of the public and posterity.

 

We are an official nonprofit partner to Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, (Gateway Arch & Old Courthouse - St. Louis), Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site (St. Louis), Mississippi Nationaal River and Recreation Area (St. Paul), Lewis and Clark Visitor Center (Yankton, SD), National Great Rivers Museum (Alton, IL), Central High School National Historic Site (Little Rock) and Chippewa National Forest (Minnesota.  

 

We provide financial and personnel support for museum education programs, public programs and events, museum exhibitions, and curatorial, archival and library operations of the National Park Service.

Mr. David A. Grove

BIO

David A. Grove, began working with Jefferson National Parks Association in 1991 and is the second person to hold the position of President & CEO. He is native to the greater St. Louis area and brings a commitment to the local community and the national park system as a whole. Mr. Grove attended Washington University and Saint Louis University and holds degrees in Management and Decision Sciences and Personnel and Industrial Relations. Mr. Grove is a leader in the public lands community, and has served as an officer of the board of directors for the Association of Partners for Public Lands. Mr. Grove believes that strong organizations are established on the basis of accountability, trust and sound management practices.
