Delaware Futures provides academic, social, motivational support and cultural enrichment that empowers economically disadvantaged high school students to recognize and fulfill their unrealized potential and become matriculated college students.

Education Programs

Delaware Futures operates year round, beyond the school day; serves as many as 100 high school students in grades 9 through 12 and their parents as well as our 118 graduates. Our major program components are Academic Enrichment, Adventure-Based Learning, Community Service, Insternships, and One-on-One Advisory.

BIO

As executive director, Denise helps provide program vision and direction as well as administrative leadership and development direction. Denise's tenure at Delaware Futures began July 16, 2001. Denise graduated from Delaware State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education; she holds a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Delaware State also. She is an educator with more than 26 years of classroom teaching and administrative experience in public schools.
