Mission Statement

Jobs for America's Graduates, founded in 1980, is committed to establishing statewide non-profit organizations or partnering with government agencies to implement the JAG Model. The JAG Model is adaptable to four audiences: 1. Senior Year Program - The classic JAG Model school-to-career program provides 9 months of services during the senior year and 12 months of follow-up services post-graduation. 2. Multi-Year Program - A dropout prevention program beginning as early as the 9th grade and continuing through the 12-month follow-up period. 3. Middle School Program - This unique program is delivered to 7th and 8th graders as a dropout prevention strategy to help students transition from middle school to high school with minimal anxiety. 4. Out-of-School Program - JAG services have been equally successful in serving youth who left the traditional education system and wanted to pursue a high school diploma or a GED.
