Mission Statement

FEEA is the only non-profit organization devoted solely to providing emergency financial assistance and merit-based scholarships to civilian federal and postal employees and their families. FEEA is modeled after the military relief agencies that assist service members worldwide.

Heading into its 30th Anniversary year, FEEA continues to provide much needed help to civilian federal and postal employees across the country and around the world. FEEA now provides an average of $60,000/month in no-interest loans to feds facing temporary financial emergencies, assisting over 1,000 individuals each year. Merit scholarships benefit another 400 families annually with over $400,000 in college aid. Since 1986, FEEA has assisted federal families with over $13.5 million in scholarships and over $11 million in emergency loans and grants.

Emergency Assistance

No-interest loans of up to $1,000 are available for everyday emergencies faced by civilian federal employees.  Grants of up to $500 are offered for natural disasters.
