Program 1

Each radio show is a 28-minute interview/discussion on one particular parenting issue. We pre-interview potential guests and select experts, providing each with focus questions in advance. Taping requires one to two hours; editing, with a professional sound engineer, can take as much as three to four hours. A CD and an MP3 are produced, and CDs sent to each guest and each radio organization airing "Parents' Perspective". To stimulate listener involvement, the program offers input through e-mail and a toll-free voice mail number. Hundreds of thousands of listeners tune in weekly; 50% of them are male.
