The Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Scholarship Trust, established in 2000, has provided financial support and resources for mostly first-generation students to attend colleges, universities or technical schools and build a better life for themselves and future generations. Over the last 14 years, the Trust has provided scholarships to over 31 recipients that averaged $800/semester. According to the Pell Institute, only 11% of first-generation students actually graduate college. Trust students graduate at a rate of 67%.
