Mission Statement

STEP, and our partners, facilitate solutions that empower people to overcome their barriers to economic, educational and developmental success in the communities we serve.

STEP serves Franklin, Patrick, Bedford and Pittsylvania counties of VA. We maintain offices in Stuart, Rocky Mount, Martinsville and Danville, VA.

"STEP, and our partners, facilitate solutions that empower people to overcome their barriers to economic, educational and development success within the communities we serve.

These solutions include twenty-one programs ranging from Early Head Start through services for the elderly. STEP has enjoyed being the convener of individual and family successes for over five decades. We change lives for the better, forever."
