STATEMENT FROM THE Principal Officer

"IMAGINE….A place where your child is taught to learn and love…at the same time. A place where a student's educational experience is as individual as they are. Where your child not only learns, but grows. A place where teachers strive every day to raise standards, not just meet them. A place where struggle, animosity and judgment are replaced with hope, love and grace. Welcome to that place. Welcome to Williamsburg Christian Academy.

Williamsburg Christian Academy is a place to honor God, a place to learn, and a place to excel. It is a place to celebrate life, while honoring our past, and focusing on our future.

Concentration on personalized learning is at the heart of our curriculum. Williamsburg Christian Academy is a school where all children can be who they are created to be, where opportunities abound, and where learning is embraced authentically through personalized instruction.

There are many schools that will try to fit your child into a round hole, regardless of whether or not they are a round peg. Williamsburg Christian Academy is not one of those places. Here, your child's differences are not only accommodated, but celebrated. Failure is not an option when teachers, parents, and students work together to create student success.

Williamsburg Christian Academy's Programs are supported by what we call our Four Pillars: Spiritual Life, Academics, Athletics and Arts. God's Word is rooted in the hearts of students throughout every aspect of the educational experience at WCA. They enjoy the freedom to openly pray, worship, and express their faith through integrated Bible coursework, vibrant praise and worship, chapel messages, prayer partnerships between older and younger students, Bible Study groups, and frequent community service opportunities.

Academically, we strive to create an environment where success and excellence are the natural by-products of a focus on each student and the learning style that fits them best. We are dedicated to preparing our students to pursue higher education at the country's most prestigious and challenging colleges and universities. There is a robust and growing collection of academically focused extracurricular activities, including National Honor Society and our State Championship Odyssey of the Mind Team.

Athletically, WCA has continuously forged into new athletic offerings and has exceeded expectations in many, including our State play-off caliber teams in field hockey, volleyball, and soccer, and State Championship level women's and men's basketball squads. Recently, WCA announced the establishment of the Eagle Swim Team in 2015-16 creating even more athletic opportunities than ever before in our history.

Perhaps some of our most long-tenured activities in the school are our substantial Art, Drama, and Music departments. For example, our Strings program has earned top honors and awards in local competitions year after year.
