Program 1

The Village of Mapia, in the region of Acre, is one of the largest and closest to self sustainability in the region. This "mother village" grows food for the villagers and river people of the amazon, while also providing emergency medical and spiritual services to those in need. This village is the only post for food and medical help over thousands and thousands of miles of river tributaries in this amazon basin area.
