Mission Statement

The teachers and sponsors of the MusicLink Foundation believe that any child who has musical potential should be given the opportunity to nurture this promise to its full extent. MusicLink programs link promising students in financial need with professional music teachers or musicians who provide ongoing scholarship instruction for as long as the child wishes to learn. The MusicLink Foundation  coordinates the nomination process, recruits teachers willing to contribute lessons, provides instruments, music materials, camp scholarships, and performance opportunities for our students. We work closely with our network of business partners, sponsors and community donors to provide ongoing support for our students.
MusicLink offers private and group lessons, taught by teachers in their own private studios and also reaching students where they live through site-based lessons in inner-city programs. MusicLink creates musicians, one student at a time.
