We live in an increasingly technologically homogeneous world where data is transferred across oceans almost instantaneously and business takes place around the clock. A more integrated global economy offers both new challenges and opportunities to our global workforce.

Looking back over the 20th century, mankind's ingenuity has been truly incredible. Innovations have transformed our world creating new industries and occupations. Innovation leads to new products and processes that sustain our industrial base. Innovation depends on a solid knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and math.

Principally addressing the issues related to the need for growing employable skills, specifically in the areas of inspiration and practical application for S.T.E.M. - the United State’s global competitiveness will increasingly depend on the ability to attract more of our best and brightest students into the career field of aviation. Is America prepared to meet the needs of our growing global future workforce?

Think Global Flight provides opportunities serving as a global, inaugural experience for the exploration of career options and pathways in the aviation and aerospace industries growing career awareness. This program provides career readiness opportunities, inspiring students to achieve in core subject areas, and S.T.E.M. skills are developed through real-world applications. Exposure for participants in this program will benefit from both the personal and academic.

Think Global Flight

Think Global Flight, an around the world flight of adventure promoting education and inspiring students.

The project, Think Global Flight, recognizes the importance of real world applications of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education; as well as, a greater awareness for aerospace and aviation careers. Think Global Flight provides opportunities for an international exchange of ideas while enhancing aviation and aerospace global career awareness. This historic flight will increase the number of students around the world interested in and inspired by aviation and aerospace as they follow the crew on their globe-circling journey beginning in April, 2014.
