We sponsor a Sunday music matinee at the Boca Raton Public Library put on by a local band or orchestra group each month from September through April.

We host year-round monthly exhibits from local artists at our Spanish River Library art gallery. Each year we have at least one artist reception for members only.

We funded the library's Discover Studio to teach emerging technologies, including 3D printing, music production, audio podcasting, and photo and film editing as part of the library's role as a partner in education for the community.

BIO

As President, Cyndi Bloom has worked with the Board to increase funding resources for the library. In her outreach to the community, Cyndi has helped to heighten the organization's visibility. She continues to focus on strategies to strengthen partnership with the Boca Raton Public Library and to enhance the Friends' image while developing its future direction. On a personal note, Cyndi is very happy to be part of an organization dedicated to the betterment of the community and to the cultural enrichment of its citizens.
