Mission Statement

College of Central Florida Foundation's mission is to identify, solicit, and acquire restricted and unrestricted resources to support the college in providing educational services to Citrus, Levy and Marion counties. Our major direction is to create public awareness of the college and foundation, to provide funds for restricted scholarships/chairs, to provide unrestricted funds for the college, to prudently manage the assets of the foundation for the college and to secure foundation operational funds to ultimately support the college.

Programs

CFCC Foundation programs include: 1. Current and endowed student scholarships. 2. Endowed chairs that directly support faculty and the classroom, as well as funds to provide for exhibits and bring speakers to the campus. 3. Friend and fund raising programs through an annual Performing Arts Series, Annual Dinner Theater, Taste of Ocala and Taste of Citrus. 4. Educational and cultural programs like the Webber Center Exhibits, Library Special Collections, Brain Bowl, International Film Series, International and National speakers, Mr. and Ms. CFCC Scholarship Program. 5. Ownership and support of College Square, student resident facility, ownership of the Appleton Museum of Art, and other parcels of area real estate. All these activities are supported by board members, volunteers, and donors to enhance the philanthropic opportunities for our students, faculty, and ultimately our community.
