Program 1

NCCC's main program is to work to conserve natural areas for the benefits of recreation, stewardship, and restoration of ecologically significant habitats along North Chickamauga Creek. The beneficiaries of this program include local residents in the Chattanooga metropolitan area as well as avid hikers, kayakers, and others in the entire Southeast. We sponsor the annual Greenway Challenge Adventure Race in May which highlights the incredible recreational opportunities available within the North Chick watershed and attracts active adventurers from around the region.
