Professional Development Workshops

WACUBO sponsors various workshops on accounting and management issues that are of interest to business officers in higher education. Attendance varies by event, 20 to 60 participants per workshop. WACUBO also holds a Winter Management and Leadership Institute designed for small colleges and universities and unit business officers.

The Business Management Institute (BMI) at Sante Barbara provides in-depth professional development opportunities. The faculty members are professionals and academics, regarded for their knowledge of higher education management and leadership issues. The curricula at all our institutes are continually refined and updated to address the primary issues facing WACUBO members.

WACUBO Annual Conference

The WACUBO Annual Conference is sponsored with the assistance of volunteers. Each conference has a theme and speakers are selected from a national pool to address pertinent issues. The conference provides an opportunity for business officers to leam from the speakers and one another.
