What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Program 1

Admission is entirely audition-based, creating a highly variegated student body. OSA helps to bridge gaps in students' academic preparedness by providing a dedicated faculty and staff, personal attention, individual laptop computers for high school students, as well as an email account to facilitate better communications. This saves families the expense and time commitment associated with technology and outside arts lessons. It allows students access to industry-standard technological tools needed to produce their own literary publications, art exhibitions, media productions, and complete season of 12 performances annually. In addition to the core academic subjects, students focus on one of four arts emphases: Dance, Instrumental Music, Theatre, or Vocal Music. Students must maintain an overall grade point average of 2.0 or above, and earn a C- or higher in every class, or their artistic/performance privileges are revoked.
