Program 1

NKEF provides approximately $6,000 each year to teachers and other school staff members in the form of mini-grants, averaging $300. The Foundation administers five post-secondary scholarship programs, totaling approximately $20,000 per year. NKEF has worked with the family of a high school student who died in an auto accident to establish a fund for scholarships for drivers education courses, and funding for the presentation of traffic safety programs at the high schools.
