Mission Statement

HECKHAVEN WILDLIFE REHABILITATION CENTER is a non-profit, non-government funded, totally self-supported Agency, relying on public donations and out-of-pocket contributions. The Center will take any animal, expect dogs and cats, which have been orphaned or injured. Any wildborn native American mammal or bird is released back to the wild, if able to service. Any disabled animal, with a will to live, is sheltered in as natural an environment as possible, and used for education. The Center, also, will take an exotic animal no longer wanted by its owners, and these also will live out there lives as close to natural habitat as we can provide.
