Mission Statement

The Thunderbird Youth Academy Foundation supports a proven, cost-effective program that reclaims the lives of at-risk youth age 16-18 in Oklahoma - the Thunderbird Youth Academy.Our goal is to make sure high school dropouts have the opportunity to change their lives and make their future better.

Our mission is to support every cadet attending Thunderbird Youth Academy through education, training, and mentoring to give them the opportunity to learn the values, skills, and self-discipline necessary to become productive citizens.

The programs we assist are the Thunderbird Youth Academy, approximately 375 youth/year; the Thunderbird Regimented Training Program, approximately 90 youth/year; the Thunderbird Trades Academy approximately 40 youth/year and the STARBASE programs operated in public schools throughout the state.
