Mission Statement

Founded by Richard Olsen who lost his only child in 2000 on the eve of her birth, MAF is a tribute and virtual memory garden where all parents who lost a child can post that child's story, picture and website. It is the fund-raising arm of The National Stillbirth Society which is a parent-led activist site that promotes stillbirth awareness, research, and legislative reform.

BIO

A graduate of Yale University class of 1961, Richard Olsen has resided in Arizona since 1973. He is a licensed real estate broker, consultant, residential developer, expert witness and court appointed receiver. In August 2000 his only child Camille was stillborn at 41 weeks for unknown causes. He has turned his tragedy into a cause and is championing stillbirth research and reform across the United States.
