Fort Bend County Museum: county history exhibits and educational programs; Richmond Historic District: preserves six historic structures, partners with City of Richmond to regulate construction in district and provides tours of historic buildings and downtown sites; George Ranch Historical Park: a 480-acre living history museum of more than a century of Texas history, operated in partnership with The George Foundation; Texian Time Machine: living history festivals presented on school campuses in the Houston metropolitan region; Fort Bend Archeological Society: volunteer auxiliary that explores and preserves archeological sites in the region; San Felipe de Austin State Archeological Landmark: the Association leads a collaboration that is working to preserve and interpret the colonial capital of Texas
