Living Ministies International

Living Ministries International is based in South Africa.  Itis a world-wide ministry of Reaching,Teaching and Preaching.  This is accomplished through Church revivals, Spiritual Warfare Seminars, Evangelistic Crusades, Evangelism, Bible Confeences, Mission Conferences and Prayer Seminars.

Cecil J Peasley, born of missionary stock in the city of Port Elizabeth, trusted Christ as Saviour while still a teenager, following the trauma of a snake bite experience.  In 1969 Cecil graduated from the Baptist Theological of Southern Africa. For eleven years he pastured in the cities of Durban and Johannesburg.  In 1980 he responded to the call of World Evangelism and has taken the Gospel to countries in Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Western and Eastern Europe, Latvia, New Zealand, Paraguay, the Philippines, Russia, USA and the UK.

In light of the rapid shift of events and their resulting impact on the world, the urgency of evangelism has never been greater!  Throughout this year we have devoted our attention to the mission of evangelism by multiplication.  The long-term plan of training emerging evangelists has begun to pay off in our Evangelism by Multiplication Program with new evangelists now conducting their own crusades.  Local Associations of Evangelists have been established in , , , , and following Schools of Evangelistic ministries that we were able to conduct in each country. The purpose of these Associations of Evangelist is to encourage, train and to mobilize an army of “foot soldiers” in each country.

Program 3

Baltic Pastoral Institute

Baltic Pastoral Institute is a ministry division of Evangelical Development Ministry (EDM).   EDM and First Baptist Church of Richardson enjoy a partnership with both Matejs Baptist Church and Baltic Pastoral Institute.

Peteris Sprogis, Director of the Baltic Pastoral Institute, has been a pastor of Matejs (Matthew) Church, currently the largest Baptist church in Latvia with over 1,100 members, for 12 years. While valuing the historic faithfulness, sacrifice, and traditions of Latvian Baptists, Peteris is moving forward to reach contemporary Latvians and impact the Latvian culture of today. With both traditional and contemporary worship services, Matejs Church attracts older Christians as well as the un-churched – including young, educated, successful professionals.

Recognizing his success and looking for new leadership to move its churches into a more influential position within the core of the culture, the Union of Baptist Churches of Latvia elected Peteris as its BishoPeteris began to see a vision for what needed to be done, resulting in the Baltic Pastoral Institute.

The mission of the Baltic Pastoral Institue is to train, mentor and resource young pastors to evangelize, plant missional churches and encourage missional engagement in strategic locations in Latvia, throughout the Baltic region and beyond.

The vision of the Baltic Pastroal Institue is to plant 100 new evangelical churches in Latvia in the next eight years.

Harvesters Family of Miistries

Harvesters is an international church planting, pastor training and bible distribution ministry operating in over 35 countries on four continents. We believe that saturation church planting is by far the most effective way of fulfilling the Great Commission.

The foundation of our model was designed and built upon with the global church in mind with church saturation covering an entire nation. We aim to reach everyone. Our hope is that not one person will be left without having heard the Good News.

Using proven materials leaders will be trained to multiply the work in their existing towns, communities and coutries.
  4. How will they know if they are making progress?
Through regular reporting and monitoring of each and every program and outreach.
  5. What have and haven't they accomplished so far?
Thousands of organizations have been directly helped.
Thousands of pastor and church leaders have been trained and motivated to teach others.
On average thirty new churches are being planted somewhere in the world every day.
With limited resources the programs and outreaches only about 50 countries are currently being impacted directly.
To supply the future leader of each church with a Bible means we need 1,000 Bibles per month or 12,000 per year.

This section is a voluntary questionnaire that empowers organizations to share information on the demographics of who works in and leads organizations. To protect the identity of individuals, we do not display sexual orientation or disability information for organizations with fewer than 15 staff.
