Mission Statement

Heartstrings provides compassionate validation, bereavement education and hope to parents who have suffered pregnancy, infant and child loss from conception to 23 years of age through peer-based support groups and one-to-one peer mentoring. Programs are currently provided across the Piedmont Triad Region of NC.

"For parents who have lost children from conception to 23 years of age, Heartstrings provides healing and hope through support groups, one-to-one mentor support, and memorial events. Heartstrings mission is to provide compassionate validation, bereavement education and hope to families who have suffered pregnancy, infant and child loss through distinctive peer-based support programs guided by bereaved parents in partnership with professional facilitators. Heartstrings is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charity organization with the Tax ID #76-0777216."
