Overview

Self-reported by organization

Our model NH Education Tax Credit Scholarship law, passed in July 2012 and we became an approved NH Scholarship Organization in January 2013. We are proud to be the only fully operating Scholarship Organization (SO) in NH but being the only SO has its blessings and challenges. It means that we are handling all promotion, legal and government relations for the Education Tax Credit program statewide as well as program implementation and scholarship tax credit fundraising. We are also the only organization in NH working full-time on school choice.

In our inaugural year of operations, we have been able to establish a scholarship organization in New Hampshire, raise $235,000 in education tax credit contributions, reach 1000 applicants, connect with private and charter schools, stave off aggressive repeal of the program, engage education and community leaders, and have been featured favorably in news articles and interviews.
