Program 1

ICT first developed an Advanced Placement Computer Science (APCS) curriculum in 1989. ICT's APCS Java curriculum is now the most widely used APCS curriculum (A & AB) in U.S. high schools. Launching a new approach to teaching APCS based on a National Science Foundation-funded, UCLA led approach to broadening participation in computing with a special emphasis on including African American, Latino, and female students. ICT has developed and implemented Intel's international philanthropic educational programs for six years. ICT's work has had them localize and implement Intel's program in over 25 countries around the world.
