Mission Statement

The Helena Area Cultural Development Organization (dba The Helena Institute) was founded in 1996 to act as a catalyst for the development of cultural resources by providing increased knowledge, understanding, appreciation and practice of these resources in the Helena area. We currently focus our activities on developing, promoting and protecting the Helena area as "The Learning Center for the West" by enhancing community assets for the benefit of destination learners and residents alike.
