Mission Statement

Broadly: To fund performing arts organizations and programs of all kinds in Boise, Idaho including, but not limited to, the Morrison Center at Boise State University.
Specifically: to help fund operating expenses at the Morrison Center, including self-promition costs, and to help fund the costs of local arts groups performing at the Morrison Center.

BIO

Mr. Wilkerson, MBA, CFA, has been involved with the performing arts community since he joined the board of Morrison Center Endowment Foundation in 1999.  On the program side, he works with Morrison Center Executive Director and Boise State University President to determine Morrison Center funding needs.  Investment allocation/ monitoring as well as various board administration highlights some duties specifically at the foundation.  Grant decisions are handled by the rotating three-member Grant Committee, which is appointed by the eight-member board of directors.

"The Velma V Morrison Center for the Performing Arts on the BSU campus is world class concert hall bringing the best to Boise and offering a venue to showcase Boise's best.  The Endowment helps maintain the Center in top condition, subsidize rental rates, underwrite high-quality national and international artists, and subsize our thriving local arts groups desiring access to a world class performance hall."
