Through its programs, FoZB supports Zoo Boise, which is owned and operated by the City of Boise. FoZB's costs include animal aquisition and educational events. Of the over 259,000 visitors to Zoo Boise, 150,000 were children and 40,000 were served through organized educational experiences.
