BIO

Tim O’Donoghue is a consultant providing services for communities, destinations, and businesses in sustainability, sustainable tourism, and geotourism as Principal of Riverwind LLC. He is the former Executive Director of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce where he led efforts to integrate and promote economic, environmental, and social values and priorities into the policy and practices of businesses, including the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce. Tim’s professional nonprofit and private sector career includes working in various other industries, including energy, hazardous waste, and health and wellness. His experience also includes program management for space life science and NASA programs, including Space Station, Spacelab, and the Voyager 2 encounter with Neptune. In addition to his consultant work, Tim is currently the Chair of the National Geotourism Council, Coordinator of the Greater Yellowstone Geotourism Program, and leading the collaborative stakeholder sustainable destination development efforts of Teton County, Wyoming for Jackson Hole & Yellowstone.
