Mission Statement

Impact on Education is a nonprofit organization dedicated to leveraging community resources to impact student learning, create opportunities and build support for public education in Boulder Valley. We serve all 29,000 students in the Boulder Valley School District in Boulder, Broomfield, Lafayette, Louisville, Superior and mountain communities. Our programs, partnerships and advocacy efforts impact student learning within three areas of focus: teacher excellence, science, technology, engineering and math fields; and "at-risk" students

Program 1

Programs: Our programs improve student achievement in STEM fields, prevent student dropout, provide opportunities for students of low income families, support creative classroom projects and honor selected individuals who have made an impact in our schools. Partnerships: We build bridges between our students, our schools and the community. Impact on Education helps connect the talents and resources of Boulder Valley citizens, parents, businesses and nonprofit organizations with the educational interests of children and schools. Advocacy: We solicit the crucially needed resources essential to bridge budget disparities, reduce inequities and create opportunities for students. We are enthusiastic advocates for strong societal support of public education. Our current programs are: Classroom Mini-Grants--Awards funds to teachers so that they may implement creative classroom projects. Science, Technology and Math--Supports district-wide projects that use technology to improve student learning in science, technology, engineering and math. "At risk" students--Supports district-wide projects that aim to narrow the achievement gathis community-wide school supply drive for Boulder Valley kids in need is sponsored by the Boulder Rotary Club Foundation and Corporate Express. Impact Awards--Awards excellence in teaching by honoring five educators annually.
