BIO

Arthur Jones brings to this project his unique combination of experience as a scholar, clinical/community psychologist, and professional singer. He is the author of Wade in the Water: The Wisdom of the Spirituals, winner of a First Time Author of a Book Award from the Catholic Press Association of America. He is also co-editor, with Ferdinand Jones, of The Triumph of the Soul: Cultural and Psychological Aspects of African American Music (Westport, CT: Praeger, in press).
