Program 1

The Muriel L. MacGregor Charitable Trust hosts over 3,000 school children each year. While on the Ranch they experience a museum, outbuildings tour, horse drawn machinery exhibit, wagon ride and naturalist interpretive trails as well as the new Barn Tour, completed with a Colorado State Historic Fund grant. In addition we also host & sponsor two, one week long Heritage Camps on the Ranch. The Trust awards a $28,000 local scholarship each year to a graduating Estes Park senior. We also work to serve as a excellent example of proper land management through the use of grazing animals. Hay is put up on the lower meadow the old way with draft horses and all cattle drives are done on horseback.
