Educate New Mexico is a privately funded, non-profit organization dedicated to helping New Mexico families exercise their right to a quality education by promoting parental choice and providing financial assistance. Educate New Mexico believes that children from ALL families - regardless of income - should have access to the school of their parent's choice.

Educate New Mexico currently provides partial scholarships to 450 students attending 99 different schools across the state of New Mexico. Scholarships are valued at $1,000/year for grades K - 6 and $1,500/year for grades 7 - 12. Parents or guardians are responsible for the balance of tuition and fees.

BIO

Troy Williamson is the Executive Director of Educate New Mexico, a private, nonprofit foundation dedicated to helping every child in New Mexico gain access to a quality education through parental choice. In their seventh year of existence, Educate New Mexico has provided partial scholarships to 1,016 different children, grades K - 12, allowing their parents to send them to the school they felt best met their child's needs. Prior to his position with Educate New Mexico, Troy served as the Director of Private Scholarship Programs for the national school choice organization, Children First CEO America. During his tenure with CEO America, the number of privately funded scholarship programs in the country more than doubled. Mr. Williamson is a graduate of Abilene Christian University. He taught and coached in the public schools of Colorado for 11 years.
