Mission Statement

Our collections, library and programs provide a unique means of preserving American history for individuals of all ages. Our Youth Education Program provides a valuable participatory educational experience which enriches learning across all ages.

Youth Education

* The Postal History Museum program offers free tours and hands-on experiences related to the history of mail delivery in the United States. It also includes special stamp exhibits and a one-of-a-kind 1800's Old West postal station. *The Slusser Philatelic Library offers fascinating and rare books, documents, photos and journals related to Western history and philately and is available to researchers, historians, educators and the general public. *The Youth Education Program provides free volunteers to classrooms and youth programs primarily in Arizona, free stamps and classroom materials to teachers throughout the US, and computer games using stamps to teach concepts. *Philatelic Sales Program offers a wide range of unique stamps and philatelic materials from around the world to collectors and interested others.
