If you are a nonprofit employee, board member, or volunteer, Independent Sector wants to hear from you. At the request of the Senate Finance Committee, last fall Independent Sector convened an expert panel and five work groups to develop recommendations for charity reform. The results of their efforts are now posted on Independent Sector's Web site, and Independent Sector is accepting nonprofit comment on the proposals through February 18.

To review the recommendations, access the on-line comment form, or obtain more information on the expert panel and work groups, go to Panel on the Nonprofit Sector Web site. Independent Sector will deliver the panel's preliminary report to the Senate Finance Committee in early March.
