Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Programs for Adults
Adult services range from outpatient therapy for individuals and couples to intensive supports for individuals with severe, persistent mental health disorders. Programs include: Individual, Couples and Family Therapy; Group Therapy, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT); Community Support Services; Assertive Community Treatment; Psychiatric Evaluation and Treatment; Court Ordered Evaluation and Treatment; Illness Management and Recovery; Supported Employment.
Services to Specific Populations
Recognizing that certain groups of people require more specific interventions, GNMHC offers services designed to meet these unique needs. InteGreat Health, a new integrated health care program where clients receive primary health care and services for mental health and substance use disorders in one place; Deaf Services Team for Children & Adults (Statewide Services); Older Adult Services; Substance Use Disorder Services including Counseling, Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) and Relapse Prevention Groups; Integrated Dual Disorders Treatment (IDDT) for those who have a co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder; Culturally & Linguistically Sensitive Services; Trauma Informed Services.
Programs for Children & Adolescents
Children and adolescents with emotional disorders require services designed to meet their individual mental health needs, supportive services for them and their families, and cooperative programming with their schools and other providers. Programs include: Individual & Family Therapy; Group Therapy, including Adolescent Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT); School-Based Mental Health Services
Project RENEW in Nashua High Schools; Trauma Focused Treatment; Psychiatric Evaluation & Treatment; soon to be added: InteGreat Health program for youth.
Specialized Programs
GNMHC has created a number of essential services and programs to address identified gaps in the community's Continuum of Care, including: 24-Hour Emergency Services; First Episode Psychosis Services; Homeless Outreach Services; "A Place to Live" Housing Program; Community Connections Mental Health Court Program; Drug Court Treatment Program; Child Impact Seminars for Divorcing Parents.
