Business Training

Aid to Artisans provides training in product development and design, business skills and marketing so that artisans can market their goods internationally. We also have a small Grants Program that disburses funds to artisan GROUPS so that they can purchase raw materials and modernize their equipment.

 

Business Training 

Aid to Artisans has the most comprehensive and relevant training programs in the craft sector. These programs address the needs of artisans, exporters, designers, organizational leaders, government officials and cultural preservationists.
The only craft sector training utilizing industry experts in the fields of product development, design, marketing, environment and business management, our training provides first hand experience and uses real field scenarios.
Because training is one of our core services, we have professional training expertise on staff. We pride ourselves on staying current not only with industry trends, but also training and adult learning trends, such as using technology to expand our reach. ATA University is the first and only online training in the craft sector. This comprehensive online university includes modules on all aspects of developing a profitable craft business.
