Summer at the Freight Shed
Weekly programs including visits to the Popham Colony site, musical events, theme dinners, and hands-on activities like model boat building and knot tying.
Jane Stevens Visitor Center
The Jane Stevens Visitor Center is located in the Bath Freight Shed in Bath Maine. It has exibits about the history and archaeology of the 1607-08 Popham Colony, 17th Century boatbulding and navigation, and of the 21st century reconstruction of the pinnace Virginia. Inside the freight shed is Virginia's rigging. Outside and in the boat shed Virginia is now under construction, but will soon be at the wharf. Visitors are encouraged to walk the deck of Virginia
