Mission

The Accelerated Cure Project for MS believes that research is the only way to greatly improve the outlook for people with MS. The organization promotes scientific collaboration and accelerates research by rapidly and cost-effectively providing researchers with data and biospecimens they need to explore novel research ideas that can lead to better care for people with MS.

The Accelerated Cure Project MS Repository

The Accelerated Cure Project is creating a large-scale collection of biological samples and data from people with Multiple Sclerosis, selected other demyelinating diseases, and unaffected controls. We are making the samples and data available to researchers studying the causes of MS and building a database of the experimental results obtained in these studies.
The repository provides the scientific community with access to a large number of high quality samples and associated data. By creating this resource, we will accelerate research into the causes of MS, thereby advancing efforts to cure this disease.

iConquerMS is a ground-breaking initiative that empowers people with MS to help drive MS research and accelerate efforts toward improving treatments and finding a cure for MS. iConquerMS™ empowers all people living with MS to participate in research. Unlike other data-gathering programs, iConquerMS™ is governed and driven by people living with MS. iConquerMS™ is also a bridge, connecting you and others living with MS to the research community. You can suggest research topics and questions in areas that matter to you. You will also receive updates on what researchers are learning from all the collected data.

iConquerMS™ is not a stand-alone effort. iConquerMS™ is part of a national research network called PCORnet that will enable collaborative partnerships to improve healthcare and advance medical knowledge in ways never before possible in the United States.
