What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Smart Moves
The objective of the SMART Moves program is to prevent or delay the onset of alcohol and other drug use, and sexual involvement by young people. This is accomplished by:
? Increasing participants? knowledge about alcohol and other drugs and sexuality.
? Increasing communication among staff members, parents, guardians and Club members regarding alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and adolescent sexual involvement.
? Helping pre-teens identify and resist peer and media pressures to use alcohol and other drugs, and understand the physical and social changes taking place in their lives.
? Helping teens develop and improve skills around making decisions, resisting social and peer pressures, and coping with the stress of growing up.
Snack Program
Healthy snacks for after school program
Community Science Workshop
Community Science Programs, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) available to club members and other youth serving organizations, including the schools.
PowerHour
Homework and Tutoring help
Sports & Recreation, Health & Nutrition
Basketball, soccer, volleyball, hiking, cycling, healthy habits/nutrition and cooking class
